hello you dweebs.
this weekend was pretty eventful, so i am logging it in this dang journal.
FRIDAY:
I had to work as usual until 10:30pm. After work, 'The Debasers' had practice with our awesome new bassist, Lindsey "Moo" Farwell. She adds a new element to the band. We all really enjoy her and commend her rhythmic talents.
SATURDAY:
Again, I had to work (7:30am - 2:00pm). After work I rushed around southern GA getting ready for Prom. While doing this, I accidently shaved my head. That's right, I said it. I went to prom with a friend of Brantley's, Mellisa Lyle. She was a great prom date. I enjoyed a $50 steak as our table discussed our inner-animals. I am some sort of large feline, possibly a young lion or cougar because of my bald head. Apparently, I am an expert at distinguishing what inner-animal people posess. If you would like an analysis, send a pic.
SUNDAY:
'The Debasers' played for Columbia and Epic. I'm not completely sure how it went. It all seems a little hazy right now but hopefully something good will come of it, even if it is just a fond memory. Afterwords, I worked where I fought and argued with Bianca, and then went to sleep.

well dweebs,
i thought i would give you a mini update on 'the debasers.' while we haven't been playing many shows as of late, we have been doing a lot of song writing. we have been working heavily on vocal harmonies and even have a five-voice, four-part beauty that we are currently polishing. anyway, i'll skip the bull and hop straight to the interesting news. in two weeks, we, 'the debasers' will be meeting and performing for columbia and epic records. these are not small labels. columbia for instance currently has springsteen and the beatles. while epic has michael jackson (by the way jackson IS innocent but i will save my explaination for another entry). with a miracle, this meeting could make us BIG. otherwise, the band will fade away as our core, Brantly Jones, moves away to NC to attend Davidson College. if this is the case, if 'the debasers' die, we will die trying. win or lose or bust, the time i have spent in this band, with these incredible guys will forever mark one of the best times of my life.

'Crazy For You' has been over now for a little over a week. I had a lot of fun and learned a great deal about Gershwin and the dance of tap. Thanks to all who came to support your livejournal friend (i.e. Tad, Josh, Shuyler).

I play the boy's robot brother. I'll fill in the gaps later, but it will be great.

listen. i no longer have a cell phone and therefore have been unable to contact people that are important to me. for this, i am sorry.
i am a very busy man these days. i am working as a receptionist at a walk-in doc's office. i am a full time student. and i am currently starring in the musical, "crazy for you." if ever i have a spare hour i would much rather be on the xbox than in front of this dull computer screen. as of late, it just hasn't had the same flare... you know? i mean, i used to come to this ole' computer screen, for catching up, entertainment, and even self-enduced sexual favorings but here lately things just haven't been the same. i think i might be getting out of the period of my life in which the computer was so necessary. i guess i kind of have a love/hate relationship with this ole' computer screen but it swaying towards hate these days.
for those of you that are important to me - i will contact you as soon as i get my new phone and give you the digits.
for those of you that are not important to me - why don't you go date a dweeb or something? i don't care.

i am really needing a vacation. today i went to a travel agent, victor, and discussed going to NY. i reserved a ticket and everything. however, things didnt work out, so instead, i am going to LIN T's. this is really going to be swell i think. i really can't wait to shower in her bathroom. she has this really great shampoo that i will let evan tell you about.

hey losers. whats up? i dont care. this is about me. so here goes:
i believe that most girls are fairly easy to read (especially my ex gfs). by that i mean that i can usually tell weather or not a girl is into me or not and from there am able to tackle various situations accordingly. playing "hard to get" is a tactic that both males and females (in my opinion) are drawn to. this tactic is very frusterating to me. i have used it before and it has worked.
